One of our newer serums - is BEAUTY PAINT in a bottle. It's a miracle worker when it comes to smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, reducing pores, and repairing discoloration due to sun damage.

Astaxanthin Red Algae is a seaweed with many anti-aging qualities, it's antioxidant properties are 500 times more powerful than Vitamin C and E combined. It protects your skin against sun damage, increases skin elasticity, and improves the skin's moisture level. 

Astaxanthin Red Algae has been shown to protect the skin from sun damage caused by ultraviolet radiation. If you get a sunburn, with resultant inflammation, Astaxanthin penetrates the skin cells and reduces UVA damage, in essence acting as an internal sunscreen. It also fades redness associated with sun damage. Recent studies demonstrate it to be excellent in improving skin moisture levels, elasticity, fine wrinkles, and age spots.

How To Use

We now have two versions of this serum.

Our Original Astaxanthin Seaweed Serum is a granular serum, and because seaweed is gelatinous the granules sink and coagulate at the bottom. We've included a few metal balls to assist in dispersing the granules into the solution.

Shake vigorously and the result is a rather granular serum, not typical in any way to most serums you'll encounter. Some people enjoy the granular nature and use it as a sort of gentle exfoliant, massaging the serum into the skin and then flicking the remaining granules. We've found however that not everyone enjoys the granules.

If you prefer your serum to be smooth, choose our agranular version. 

Our New CO2 Extract (No Granules) version utilizes a supercritical liquid extraction of seaweed instead of the granules. It is a smooth serum and very potent. 

Use after cleansing and toning and apply as you do other serums. Shake bottle well and massage a few drops onto damp skin and focus on areas of concern. Take caution it doesn't drip into your eyes. If you have redness anywhere due to sun damage, use it for a few months and it will fade considerably. It is wonderful as a day serum due to its exceptional sun-protective properties. It cannot however be used instead of traditional sunscreen.
